My first interview was immediately after I applied for the post. After one more interview, I was told that I am selected, followed by offer letter in 3 weeks. But after that It took 4 months to process the H1b petition, although they applied through expedited route. It seemed the staff was extremely lasy.

Interview with the PI, lunch with lab members, then dinner with PI and a couple other lab members. Tour around the facility as well and spoke as a group or 1:1 setting.

Was invited to spend the day with my prospective supervisor and colleagues. Gave a Talk about my previous research project, and got the opportunity to learn about the ongoing projects in the lab through individual interviews with all team members. I was even invited to attend a presentation from an invited speaker at the institution.

Interview
Direct meeting with PI. They ask mostly about your experience and what you want to do. He asked me to present over Skype. The interview was for around 45 minutes. It was one to one Skype. No HR interview round.
