I applied online. I interviewed at Meltwater (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2020
Interview
One Initial Screening, then a long group interview, then an individual interview. However, prior to the group interview, you must fill out the longest questionnaire I have ever seen for an interview. I'm unsure they were even read, but they took several hours to fill out. Do not apply unless you very much want to work here, because it is a huge upfront ask of time and energy. Furthermore, the team will only briefly review these, and cannot give those who were not accepted a single reason why.
I also had the experience that my interviewer irresponsibly missed my initial screening due to their lack of organization and had to reschedule. The group interview zoom call also began several minutes late. Finally, the company boasted of doing the PR for mega-church that was holding Trump rallies and illegally breaking covid protocol, resulting in several deaths this year. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism from this team during their interview process.
They make you do a group presentation whereby they assess your communication skills. Furthermore they assess how you handle objection. This is because within sales you will encounter a lot of rejection.
Recruiter kept forgetting information about me during the process. Super unprofessional and was obviously trying to hit quota rather than find qualified candidates. Second round was a group interview, then the last round is individual again
Three interviews - one group one final
One introductory call
-group was over zoom and they put you in groups to come up with a company that could use meltwater
-group was fairly easy
-final interview roleplay
