      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Medix (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2016

      Interview

Interviewed in Chicago office. 20-30 minute phone screen interview with corporate recruiter. Second interview was in office, casual meeting with the Medix team. Overall relaxed feel with a few situational and behavioral questions. Third interview is more of a shadow day which takes a couple hours. More of a formal interview process. You also interview with team of recruiters in order to get a feel for the company. Great experience.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Medix (Scottsdale, AZ) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Received a phone call asking the standard interview questions. At the end of the call, she immediately set up an appointment for an in-person interview and spoke with 2 people for about 1 hour. After the interview both the ladies set up a shadow experience to go in the office and speak with 4 other girls. When going in for the shadow experience come prepared with a lot of questions. They in return each ask you a question at the end, some can be hasty and rude if they don't hear the answer they prefer to hear they will tell you immediately and shut you up. A particular interviewer disagreed with my opinion and didn't allow me to finish answering the question. They said that they would get back to me after interviewing others and I have never heard back from them with a yes or no, waste of time and wouldn't recommend. The talent coordinator office is filled with ladies and barely any men; reminds me of a sorority.

      Question 1

Where do you see yourself in the future? What are you 3 core beliefs? Has anyone, like mentors, friends, or your parents, ever instilled any life lessons that you live by? Do you believe people are self made individuals?

      Interview

The interview process is a professional process that is a little longer than other entry level interviews I've had. Day 1: Talking over the phone to an internal recruiter, asked basic questions about previous work history and what the candidate is looking for in a company / career. Asked to fill out a very quick personality survey via e-mail. Day 2: Initial interview: This day involved an interview with two of their upper level employees. I spoke to the National Accounts Director of Recruiting and their head Personal Consultant at the same time. They ask more questions to get some insights as to motivations, how you deal with challenges, etc., and then talk more about the position and Medix as a company. Make sure to bring questions about both Medix or the position if you have any. Finally, they discuss when a good time would be to be in touch about another interview or feedback. Day 3: Second interview: First you speak briefly with the same interviewers from day one. Next, they let you speak to a couple of people that either work in your position or started in that position and then moved upward into a recruiter position. Each of them asks a couple more personality / situational questions and asks if you have questions for them. You then have the opportunity to talk to a National Account Manager. You also have the chance to sit in on a recorded typical phone call in the position. After this, you hear back from them about an offer.

      Question 1

Be comfortable talking about your strengths and weaknesses. When was a time that you wanted to give up on something but didn't? Tell me about a challenge you had to deal with and what you did.
