Interview
I had an initial phone call with the recruiter. The call was informative, but I felt that the recruiter asked some questions that were a bit off, leaving me with an uncomfortable feeling about the role and the company. I just felt that the recruiter's line of questions was not appropriate for an interview and really did not impact how a candidate would complete the role they were applying for.

Some standard questions for the initial interview are: tell me about yourself.
If you have recently taken a break from employment due to a layoff or other reasons, don't ask someone "what exactly you are doing now during the break in employment." It just seemed rude, and the candidate should not be made to feel like they are in the wrong or taking a break in their career, even if they are continuing their education to better their careers.
The interview process took over a month to complete. I filled out the application online, and about three weeks later, I was contacted by someone from Human Resources. We discussed the position and some of the high-level details. Then another two weeks passed before they reached out again to set up the first interview. The second interview was with three of directors from different programs that I would be working with, and the final interview was with the managing director of the Federal education program.

The usual interview questions give us examples of how you would handle a stressful situation with a coworker, and how would you handle a situation with a project team member who was not completing their work. Tell us your strengths etcetera
2 seperate interview stages. Each interview with a different manager. It was fairly straight forward and I was also able to get a good insight regarding expectations and company culture.

Applied online and it took several weeks to hear back, After that, typical recruiter interview followed by hiring manager, and then a panel interview with cross-functional partners I'd work with. It took about 5 weeks.
