I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Marriott International in Feb 2013
Interview
Started out with a common cocktail quiz. Ingredients, glassware, garnish. Passed that and then went on to the typical interview questions from the bar manager. He then gave me a tour of the bars and hotel as a whole. Interview seemed pretty structured yet casual.

One interview, but took 3 weeks to hear back then another month until my training class which was basically just the heads of a few departments flexing on themselves for 2 days
It was a great interview. Straight to the point but at the same time comfortable. Unfortunately, I did not get the position but I made it to the final round.

I was interviewed by Human Resources by phone. We had a great connection, and she was very professional, courteous, and followed up like she said she would. I was impressed.
