I interviewed at Mantis Innovation (Dallas-Fort Worth)
Interview
unprofessional, and just downright childish. The woman I interviewed with was like a 4th grade elementary teacher that was super peppy. I tried to tell her about my experience but she bashed me for my personality because I didn't appear cheerful enough. It was just ridiculous. Like there is more to a job than acting like an over-validated cheerleader. She attacked me for jumping jobs early in my career. Since then I stayed at places for 8 years, 4 years, or so. I looked at her linkedin, and she jumps jobs every 6 months. The woman was just amazing in her projections.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mantis Innovation in Feb 2021
Interview
First interview lasted about 45minutes, second interview was a panel interview and lasted about an hour. They asked technical questions and personal questions, pretty par the course. The recruiter I was working with stayed in regular contact with me throughout the process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Mantis Innovation (Denver, CO) in Sep 2023
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and well-organized. It started with a phone screen with a recruiter, which covered basic qualifications and an overview of the role. After that, I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager and a potential teammate. Lastly, I did a virtual interview with the skip-level manager and someone from a tangential team. Each step felt thoughtful and gave me a good sense of the role/company culture.
