I first met a representative of MCAConnect at my school's career fair, then I was contacted by their recruiter through email to set up my interviews. The recruiter set up a phone call with me and gave me a rundown of the company and what they do, and answered any questions I had about the company or the interview. I had 2 in-person interviews total (about 1 week apart), both of which lasted from 30-50 minutes.
The interviewer was very easy to talk to, and I felt very comfortable with her. She asked me basic OOP-related questions, and one or two behavioral questions. She also told me all about the company and the job position.
Fortunately, I made it to the next round of interviews. This one was different from the last because my interviewers seemed more interested in getting to know me, my hobbies, and my programming classes/projects. No interview questions here really, more of a get to know you type of deal.
Overall, all of the people I came into contact with at MCAConnect were very friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. They really put you at ease and make the company seem like an appealing place to work!
The only gripe I have is that I was not contacted by the company again. This was very disappointing, since my recruiter was initially very helpful. I would have hoped MCAConnect would at least send me a formal rejection, or respond to my email regarding a follow-up. As another reviewer mentioned, they essentially ghost you if you do not qualify.
