I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at MAANA in Feb 2019
Interview
Several phone screens where the focus was technical depth and then a final job talk followed by questions and another set of interviews. They asked intuitive questions after the job talk and I liked the overall interview experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe your work, then follow up questions related to the work you described such as why did you pick a certain technology, what were the issues you faced and how you overcame those issues etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at MAANA (Amsterdam) in Sep 2016
Interview
Drie interviews. Met headhunter in process. Sommige interviews zijn typisch remote. Zeer gericht op F-500 bedrijven: olie en gas, manufacturing en shipping gerelateerd. Geen entiteit in Nederland dus UK of contractor constructie.

Question 1
Account management. Olie en gas gericht. Autonoom.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at MAANA (Bellevue, WA) in Oct 2018
Interview
Was contacted by recruiter and had a phone interview with the manager and a phone interview with the HR. Followed by an onsite interview. The interview was OK. The questions are not very hard, and most of interviewers are friendly, except one senior people working on the coding is a little bit arrogant. The biggest problem with them is they don't know what they want to do. As a six-year startup, there is even no well-thought or well-defined product. It seems they don't even have a customer/many customers. This is the biggest problem for a startup. BTW, there is no 401-k match, there is no bonus, and they had laid off many people recently. How do you know you are not the next one?

Question 1
A lot of questions about my presentation. One silly question is what number is not equal to itsself (NaN). Come on, could you please focus on the high-level picture for the company?
