Applied online, followed by a recruiter screening call. Advanced to technical interview over Zoom with two data scientists that tested SQL knowledge and hypothesis testing skills. Results were communicated quickly within days.

Question 1
How would you conduct a hypothesis test to see if there is a difference?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lyra Health (Burlingame, CA) in Jun 2019
Interview
— Phone screen with recruiter
— Phone screen with hiring manager
— Take-home assessment
— On-site interview
For the onsite, the interviews were broken down into the following sections:
— Product case question with PMs
— Technical case question with Engineering Lead (stats, whiteboarding, coding, etc.)
— SQL workshop (more whiteboarding, how would I answer the following questions given the following schema, table design, etc.)
— Take-home assessment presentation
— One-on-one with hiring manager
It was a lot for an interview process and I was pretty tired by the time we got to the presentation portion. I'm very happy I did it though, great learning for me.

Question 1
I don't quite remember the questions, but one of them was around how I would approach filtering out 'bullying' words in Tweets and how I would assess the filter (i.e., identifying false-positives).
