I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics
Interview
Phone screen, IQ and personality test, then interview day at Coopersburg PA headquarters. Hour long Serena Shades sales presentation, come very prepared for it and know how to close the deal. Then an hour long, pretty challenging role play scenario about going to market. This part is tough but just remain calm, I kinda messed it up but they just want to see if you'll get flustered. Then I had 5 interviews throughout the rest of the day. If you don't do well before lunch they will send you home, if you make it to lunch it's a good sign. I was there for a total of 9 hours, it was easily the most challenging and mentally exhausting interview day I've ever had. Almost everyone who interviewed me was very, very pretentious. The lady who runs the program is an insufferable and miserable person, yet is the most important one to win over. A few of the VPs were pleasant to talk to, but other than that I got a very bad vibe from their culture. I would caution people to stay away from this company unless they have a psychopath mentality about sales. Was informed a week later that I didn't get the offer, and was very relieved because I would have declined it anyway.

Application
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics (Coopersburg, PA)
Interview
First interview went great. Second lady called me and was extremely rude and unprofessional. Didn't even ask me questions about myself or my experience. Wrote me off immediately, despite having raving reviews from the first interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics in Feb 2023
Interview
Do not even waste your time with Lutron. I had a 4 hour interview, and I had to reach out for them to tell me no in an automated response. I asked for feedback and they sent me a link from indeed "10 interviewing tips". After meeting with 8 people you would think they would have notes to share. This is crummy business practice and the company was disrespectful after I put in a few hours preparing.

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Lutron Electronics
Interview
My experience visiting the company was amazing! I had already interviewed for the SLDP role virtually and received an offer. As a courtesy, the company flew me out to give me a tour of the sales team and the engineering testing lab. Everybody was extremely nice and I got to learn the ins and outs of most of the products. They were able to answer everything from intricate engineering design questions to what the sales engineer role entails and the type of customers they support.
I left feeling very positive about this company.
