After a multi-step interview process, this company proved to be extremely unprofessional with absolutely no regard or respect for anything or anyone other than their own well-being. For my initial phone interview, I waited 30 minutes for their call which I never received. After reaching out to them myself, it was clear that the person conducting the interview completely forgot about our appointment and ended up asking to reschedule. Then, after that, I was invited for an in-person interview which went well and I was assured that they were very interested and would be inviting me back for a "working interview". Several days later I received a formal invitation (the office manager and owner of the company were both on this invite) for the working interview and the date and time were confirmed. The day before the interview was scheduled, I e-mailed the office manager to confirm that the everything was still on track. I did not hear anything back from anyone until a few hours before we were scheduled to meet, at which point I got a very generic e-mail saying that they had already hired for the position.
I completely understand them hiring a better candidate, and that has nothing to do with why this was a negative experience for me. Rather, it is because they not only dropped the ball multiple times, but also because they wasted my time without so much as an apology.
