I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at LongHorn Steakhouse (Philadelphia, PA) in May 2013
Interview
Simple, straight to the point process. I met two managers. First the kitchen manager who was very professional and really nice at the same time. He made me feel comfortable which helped me answer interview questions a lot smoother. He then told me I passed the first interview and then i would have to have one with the general manager to get the job. The next day I met the general manager who was a lot more stern but still approachable. He was very honest with me, gave me information about the company and even joked here and there about a couple of common experiences we both shared. Overall it was about 25-30 minutes. He even offered me a beverage, which of course i took, as we talked. Then ultimately he liked my honesty and eagerness to work so he told me on the same day I had got the job and shook my hand firmly. Then he told me which day I should come in for orientation and then soon afterwards i got my schedule for training.
It was simple to understand and she was nice for the interview but the job wasn’t good. It was quite toxic and bad pay. I was overworked a lot and it was the worst job I’ve had

Interview
We sat at one of the tables and she asked me general questions about myself & why I wanted the job. We chatted for about 30 mins and she went to her office & returned within 5 minutes to offer me the job.

Easy and straight to the point , they want to see that you have personality and you’re able to handle irate customers, make sure to dress buisness casual ! Great way to become a server as well
