Very straightforward, no experience from a recruiter. I could tell she was new at the job. We briefly chatted about my previous experience in IT; however, I was lukewarm at best. We should have discussed as she was more interested in what she wore that day. I was given a computer test. The test was to identify the state capitals in the exercise correctly. I went through the entire process and completed the training when suddenly, my PC was met with the blue screen of death. I should have mentioned that it was running Windows 7! My interviewer saw I had completed the test, and she still dared to say I had failed. I was to return later to attempt the test again, as the system would only allow me to test once every 24 hours. I was so in shock. I contemplated going to the second attempt date. I decided to go. The second time, the PC recorded my results and I was able to move on, only to be told that they had already filled the position and that it was a mistake on their part not to follow up and notify me of the position precision.
