I applied online. I interviewed at Lloyd Agencies (Schaumburg, IL) in Aug 2020
Interview
First you sit through an extensive webinar for the better part of an hour. They tell you the average individual producer (agent) will make 45-75K in commissions and bonuses doing what they call "full-time" work. This means means responding gratuitously to the very first text in GroupMe at 6 AM and cold calling tired lists or friends of your own until at least 9 PM. The second is a Zoom interview given by an upbeat SA (higher up agent). That encourages you that this is a great six-figure opportunity if you are willing to work hard. Especially because of all of the awesome holiday parties and random excursions they get spoiled with. "But with this darn Covid-19 shutting everything down, who really knows what is to come, right?" Then, of course, the mandatory "Why do you want to work for Lloyd Agencies?"

Do you have a laptop or pc with windows? Internet access?
I interviewed at Lloyd Agencies (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2024
Interview
Poached via linkedin. I had to watch a webinar (video presntation). Then there was a call, and then a zoom. Very friendly, cordial, informative. They have it seemingly all worked out and set realistic expectations. Not an MLM, like I was somewhat worried it may be

Question 1
How would you manage a crisis such as a client wanting to cancel his plan with you?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Lloyd Agencies (Schaumburg, IL) in Jun 2023
Interview
Not as expected, more transparency is needed in the interview process. Didn’t know it was commission. Would appreciate a clear outline of job duties before scheduling interview. Not for me.
