Interview
Horrendous time wasting experience. Product and mission seemed compelling but top leadership killed any desire to be part of such a confused and disingenuous environment. Luckily they couldn’t contain their unprofessionalism and revealed their true colors early on affording me the opportunity to dodge a huge career bullet.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LiveSafe (Arlington, VA) in Feb 2020
Interview
The take-home assignment was very neat and aptly designed which are in sync with the job requirements published - clear instructions along with the mention of what they are looking for.
It was a quick evaluation, within a week, followed by an email for the next round, onsite, a fully covered trip.
Right from the reception to send-off, I'm pretty much impressed with how the things advanced. I felt there is much clarity on how the interviews are ordered, an intro by Senior Director, followed by tech people, product owners in the lunch, VP of products, client director and VP of engineering. Btw, I'm lucky to get a chance to interact (unscheduled) with the CEO as well, who spoke on the mission and the impact the product is trying to create.
You'll admire the whole interview process which was like a friendly interaction, more like a networking meet-up - sharing experiences.
Noticed, some negative comments on the glassdoor on the lack of vision, but I fell the team definitely has a well-packed timeline with a goal & products lined up to multiple the product impact.
