      Graduate Scheme Interview

      Jun 11, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Derby, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Lithia (Derby, England) in Jun 2016

      Interview

online application, video interview then assessment centre. my overall opinion of the assessment centre: It was run as if the assessors had been on an assessment centre the day before and had attempted to replicate it the following day with little time to prepare. It just seemed to be a bit cobbled together and did't run smoothly. People were interrupted during one task and asked to complete another, everybody was talking during the tasks, the time limits set during the tasks weren't adhered to and there was a general laissez faire feel to the day. This is the 4th assessment centre I've attended but was arguably the worst run. Whilst the assessors were nice enough, the day didn't show the company in a positive light and left me with the impression that its a company that I wouldn't want to work for. This was my general impression of the day but a few of the other people there on the day seemed to enjoy the relaxed approach. If I had travelled a long way, I would have been pretty annoyed.
