Very poor Candidate experience.
Applied online and was contacted just over a week later for a 45min phone screen with the Recruitment Lead. Following that,
1 face to face interview with Recruitment Lead.
1 phone interview with HR Manager who was based in Sydney.
1 face to face interview with 2 HRBP's. (After being advised their was only 2 rounds of interviews).
3 additional lengthy phone calls/screens from the Recruitment Lead during this time to reask or reword the same questions I had been asked previously.
2 Reference checks completed. (One of my referees contacted me afterwards who is the owner of a Recruitment Agency to advise me how poorly the check was conducted).
At the end of 5 weeks the final call from the Recruitment Lead to advise I was unsuccessful lasted less than 10 seconds. No feedback provided or offered, could not wait to get off the phone with me. Cut me off as I went to ask for feedback.
I'm very comfortable with the fact that this role was definitely not for me, however their candidate care and recruitment processes need a lot of attention.
