I interviewed with Lime in April 2019. I was first contacted by a recruiter who was very interested in my resume. We had a 30 minute long phone discussion, which went well.
From there I had another conversation with someone from the operations team. This conversation was focused on what I was hoping to get out of the position, and it seemed like this person had a slightly different interpretation of what the job would entail when compared to the description online and my previous discussion with the recruiter.
That being said, the interview went fairly well, no real challenging questions. At the end I asked what the next steps would be and I was told the interviewer would reach out to his boss for next steps.
Well, I never heard back from Lime again. Honestly, I don’t mind not being the right person for the job, but at least communicate with your candidates a little better. I put time and effort into this interview process only to be ghosted like a bad Tinder date. How about an email or phone call follow-up saying the company is going in a different direction? How hard would that be? If you can’t respect the time of potential future employees will you really be trusted folks in the future?
