      Tennis Instructor Interview

      Apr 3, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Pleasanton, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lifetime Tennis (Pleasanton, CA) in Feb 2011

      Interview

On court interview to see skill level. Additional questions are asked. Really they just want to know if you can play and if you are comfortable in being hard on people and whether you can lead a class. Sometimes there will be a trial run by accompanying a fellow instructor for a lesson or two.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How long have you played tennis? Are you comfortable speaking to children and adults? What is your approach to handle a troublesome child?

      Tennis Instructor Interview

      Oct 29, 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Pleasanton, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Lifetime Tennis (Pleasanton, CA) in May 2013

      Interview

All employees start with a formal sit down interview with the director to see if they would be a good fit as an instructor. The main function of this is to gauge how available a candidate would be in the role and how they may react to certain scenarios or questions of potential clients. After I had an on-court interview which was mainly used to assess my tennis skills and knowledge and see how I can use them on the job.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Do you know the different tennis grips and groundstroke techniques?
