Interview
First contact was a phone call to set up a phone screen. After the phone screen there was a couple week wait and then a call for a face-to-face. Just prior to this meeting was another call from the company helping to explain how the details of the interview. After the face-to-face interview, and being told I was being moved on to the next phase, there was silence for two weeks until the scheduler finally returned my messages ans explained that another candidate had been hired.

Question 1
A presentation was part of the interview process and although I was allowed to present on my current career, I work in a niche industry. I am not sure the interviewer completely understood what I did for a living and how it related
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional (Miamisburg, OH) in Jan 2022
Interview
I've been interviewing to return to LexisNexis for years. There are many ways to go wrong in an interview (trust me) but, I finally got it right!
The interview process was well organized and they told me what to expect along each step of the journey. First the recruiter did a basic screening. Next, was a zoom interview with two hiring managers. Then an interview with a manager and a vice president. By the end of this interview I felt confident I was going to get an offer. The recruiter (internal) called me 2 days later.
The difference between this interview and previous, failed, interviews was my thinking. In earlier attempts to rejoin LexisNexis I was emotional. I conveyed my enthusiasm for working there but failed to successfully illustrate what I could bring to the table.
In this interview I presented a business case, arguing that the skills I've used to be successful with my current employer would transfer nicely to the Client Manager position with LexisNexis. I had done research on the current solutions and was able to bring that into our conversations. I also did research with LinkedIn, on the people listed in the zoom invitation for my interviews.
I studied for this interview and it payed off! I'm going to rate the interview difficulty as easy, but, that's only because I was well prepared and my heart is in the right place.

What is the most important part of the sales process?
I interviewed at LexisNexis Legal & Professional (Troy, OH)
Interview
I received an email from a recruiter and scheduled a phone interview. I thought the phone interview went well. The recruiter let me know that she wanted to schedule a follow up call with myself and the hiring managers, and that I could expect to hear back from her by email the following week. I never heard another word. I sent her an email to thank her for her time and inquire about next steps, but did not receive a response. How inconsiderate and unprofessional.
