I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lexington Home Loans (Irvine, CA) in Feb 2024
Interview
The office has a side entrance you enter then they route you to lobby that has a desk that no one sits at with a bunch of apps on clipboards. Its always a bad sign when there are a bunch of apps for LOs ready to be filled out, a good sign of a revolving door brokerage shop. The broker Speros is a joke. Telling you how much of a heavy hitter he is with UWM and how much business he brings in. I didn't hear the phones ring once when I was there. There are some desks in a small cramped room with equipment that looks like it was bought during the first Obama administration. He asked me one question and then rambled on about how his clients love him and only come back to him. If he wasn't talking then the entire office would be as quiet as a church. I accepted the job because I am an idiot. I figured it couldnt be that bad. It is. Its pretty awful.

Listened to the broker ramble on and on about himself. I was told he would provide training instead he muddled on about himself. Clearly I should have left immediately as none of the training provided came in helpful at all.
