I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Leidos (Ann Arbor, MI) in Apr 2016
Interview
After submitting my resume through a university portal, I was asked by someone in HR to schedule an onsite interview at a local facility. I was asked to fill out a detailed form which would be used to determine whether I was eligible for a security clearance. I was interviewed by three people on site. One went over my background a bit and explained what their team does. The second person asked about my future interests and what kind of interesting problems I have solved on my own. The third asked me to implement a Linked List on paper. I was notified via email a few days later that the position had been filled.
Phone screening followed by one on one interview. The one on one made no sense, there was no structure and the questions that were asked weren’t even for listed technologies or languages that were in the job description.
Simple and just general coding questions. Prepare knowledge of Java and PL/SQL. Understanding of Agile and Scrum. Understanding how to create Jar and Wars. Using TortoiseSVN. Security questions. General coding and developer questions.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Leidos (Melbourne)
Interview
Technical interview was hard but fair. All was well until we got into the HR questions. HR and psychometric interview questions straight out of ChatGPT. Some not relevant at all.
