Interview
Asked about your experience with technologies. Asked about experience with C# and API's. Described the work as working on an internal piece of software as well as providing software support for it.

Interview
The initial interview is a little unorthodox- as soon as you come in, the interviewer sits you at a table and gives you directions for an on-the-spot project to design 2 different lingerie costume outfits for specific themes. They give about 15 mins to do this and then come back and you present your sketches. The main interview follows this, and there is a take-home design project to create an in-depth illustration of another outfit with details and notes.
usually these project are pretty standard, but I was never told that I needed to add my callouts or fabric details to the illustration so it was frustrating because the feedback was that all these details were missing and of course I did not get the job. It was a little hectic with miscommunication, but if you are good with quick sketching and illustrations then this would be a fun job.

Interview
I went to the first interview, and qualified to make it to the second round with a design project. They liked my design project so I received a date for a second interview. I went to the second interview and was given an offer letter WHICH I SIGNED. The DAY BEFORE I was supposed to start the job I was told "the position had been postponed" and I never heard back from them. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, the original job posting had the salary set for 55-60k, it was reposted and the salary was changed to 50-53k. Respectfully associates make that much, and 60k for a fashion designer was low as it was. Probably the most unprofessional experience I've ever had, and in retrospect I'm glad I dodged a bullet. If that's how the interviewing process is ran I can't imagine what the company looks like internally. Extremely disappointed.
