Communication is extremely poor and the response time is very slow. I had an interview, and afterwards instead of sending me a message that they would be rejecting me they just completely ghosted me instead, which I think is very unprofessional and rude/disrespectful, especially considering they are a company that focuses on mental health.
The interview process included TA and the Partnerships Director, surprisingly the Founders were not involved at all. The interview questions were overly simplistic and ridged to the responsibilities. More or less, yes or no questions about whether you did said task before or not.
When it came to asking them questions about the company's vision and differentiators, the answers that proceeded lacked depth and conviction. Almost like they didn't believe in what they were doing.
In terms of communication throughout and next steps, this is where they failed in providing a good candidate experience. Following each interview, they would commit to reconnecting at a certain time but never did. After reaching the final round, they provided no notice and didn't respond to any attempts of follow up. Ghosted
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lavender Psychiatry (Calgary, AB) in Nov 2024
Interview
Communication was a 0-10. Even if you’re not a top candidate, the HR manager should be responding when they told you to send questions to them. I even moved in to the next interview and I never got a response back to questions I asked.
