I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lamplight Farms in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was ridiculously long and very obscure. I first did a 45 minute phone interview and then the in-person interview was a 3 hour long process with 7 people altogether. Upper management seemed out of touch with the role and department I was applying for. I was more than qualified for the role, but their insanely apprehensive approach to the interview process cost me the job. They were looking for answers to questions that were never asked. The main interviewer gave feedback that was very stuck up and towards the end, just acted as though she thought she was better than me. Good to know they don't value longevity...the girl they hired hasn't kept the same job for more than 9 months over the course of 5 years...meanwhile I was with the same company for over 4 years. Whatever; it's their loss.
In general, they used big words for the sake of sounding "smart". They stressed accountability, which is good, but they did so to the point of micromanagement. The woman who would have been my manager needs to get off her high horse. Am I bitter for not getting the job? I was bummed at first, but after receiving the feedback I did and seeing how it all played out, it's clear I dodged a bullet.
