I applied online. I interviewed at Lakewood Group (Edina, MN) in May 2018
Interview
First interview was very brief, maybe 15 minutes. The job was advertised as a marketing job, but would basically be a sales position to promote/grow Xfinity. Be careful when applying for "Marketing" jobs, because quite often, they are actually pyramid scheme type sales jobs for companies such as Xfinity. I was asked about 3 questions and then the manager told me about the job. Any interview is a good learning experience and good practice, but it was overall a waste of time.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lakewood Group (Edina, MN) in Apr 2018
Interview
2 interviews. First was 15min basic introduction and explaining the skills you bring to the table as well as a quick intro into the company. Some basic interview questions but not strenuous at all.
Second interview was later that same day with two people and lasted 40min. Wasn’t really an interview, no questions asked and the two interviewing me just kind of blabbered on about sports and cars and money and didn’t talk much about the job until prompted. Interview was a bit sketchy, stated it would take 1-4 years of retail based Comcast sales to even make it to a managerial role. Same “hiring manager trainees” vibe that a lot of pyramid schemes give off.
If you don’t want to sell Comcast on a 100% commission basis for the next 3-6 years don’t apply here. The projected money isn’t worth it at all(20-40k) with the Fri-Tuesday working hours. Absolutely no benefits either. You could probably make really good money eventually, just be prepared to throw your life away.
