I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Lake Partners (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2012
Interview
I met with two different current consultants and each presented a case study after a fairly cursory resume review. They were more process than result oriented and asked you to detail your thought process more than anything. These two were in drastically different industries (online advertising and for-profit healthcare) and the interviewers tried to offer little guidance and mostly observe your approach.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Do you think the market share of online vs other advertising will continue to increase?
Found on campus recruiting cite, but I applied on lake partners website and then ran through a case with associate. It was fairly a straightforward interview and case took about 45 minutes.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Lake Partners (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I interviewed in the office. There were two interviews, each with a case question, and both with questions about my resume. Both interviewers were kind, interested, and relaxed. The atmosphere was more relaxed than I anticipated.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about a specific research project on my resume, and how the research was applied.
My interview was brief and consisted of a simple marketing case question. The interviewer was kind but I got the impression she had been interviewing extensively throughout the day.
