They approached me themselves to apply to this role. Upon saying I was interested they made me complete a take home test on the same day itself to be considered. I agreed as I was understanding. They immediately reached out to me to schedule a phone interview and ghosted me when I gave them my times. Out of the blue the email me apologizing and I gave them leeway assuming things do come up sometimes. We finally set up a time and they ghosted me on the day of the interview after we agreed on a time. The recruiter named Neveen Mikha was responsible for all my schedulings and they never apologized after. She proceeded to send me an email 2 weeks later about how "unfortunately we decided to proceed with another candidate" and never sent me an apology, I can't believe LPL Financial recruiters can be so unprofessional that they do not even bother apologizing or responding to my follow up asking them if there was a difficulty in conducting my interview.
The interview was standard. It was conducted online. The manager was pleasant enough. The interview lasted about 30 minutes. They went over salary, expectations and job growth opportunities. It was a good overall experience.

Most unprofessional interview ever. 2 men in a room with just me, a woman. They had a piece of paper with interview questions on it and clearly, they were just crossing them off the list once they asked them. One of the questions they asked me was, "If you were a pizza, what skills would be your toppings?" Ok...what? This is unnecessary. Then, later, one of them tried to get friendly with me and commiserate about Anthropology at UNCC. He loved a certain teacher that all other students do not like. Then he gleefully reminisced about another teacher there in the department who told him that rape is not wrong. 2 men - one man-splaining to a woman, in a closed room, in an interview, where they have the "power", telling me that WOW! The teacher said rape isn't wrong! Cool, huh?! I couldn't have gotten out of there faster. Turned down the job, obviously.

Interview is done virtually, very laid back and straight foward. Did not take more than a few days to receive an offer. Please negotiate salary even if it is unsuccessful.
