LACER Afterschool Programs interview questions

The interview was very casual. Be on time! Interviewer does not forgive tardiness, even in the city with the worst traffic in the nation. The program focuses more enriching students' experience in the after school setting and not on superior academic knowledge. This job was in Fairfax High School, and the employer was looking for an individual with a strong mathematics background.

It was great. Very relaxed and calm. Just asked about your tutoring background, if you are okay working with children, if the hours work well for you. The staff is concerned with providing a safe environment for children after school. They emphasize that during the interview process. They also stress the importance of teamwork and open communication with the other staff members. It's a pleasant company to work for. No need to be nervous about the interview process, very understanding and open minded staff.
