I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kroll (Provo, UT) in Sep 2016
Interview
It was very relaxed. Only technical questions were asked. I got the interview through their campus recruiting. Just know your valuation models. They will ask you to compute either the WACC or discounted cash flows, but the recruiter will help you with it if you don't have a finance background.
First round interview was virtual. Was shown interview questions prior to recording my answers, and had unlimited time to prepare before answering. There were quite a few question, though I was able to take as much time as needed to prepare.
Overall average interview including dcf and other valuation approaches focus including precedents and market multiples , overall capital markets knowledge might also be useful including knowledge about what kroll does
Multiple rounds, first phone interview. Then flown into office where we did interviews with some of the team members, then a case study with other interviewees and presented to the team and had lunch after. Later received a phone call.
