I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Houston, TX) in Jul 2019
Interview
As a meat clerk you will need to stock and condition department regularly, and work on lunchmeat. Depending if you open or close the department these tasks may change. If you open it's going to be more fast paced with a heavier workload and if you close the department must be left clean and well conditioned.
Simple in person interview with the store manager or ARM, ask briefly about past experiences in customer service. Basically given the job immediately, if you can get to work on time you can work at Kroger.

Question 1
The most important question was them asking about my availability.
They asked if you can stand for 8 hours and wanted to know if blood grossed me out. There wasn't really any serious questions so it was a pretty easy interview.
