I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kroger (Crestview, FL) in Sep 2016
Interview
The phone interview had to be rescheduled once an hour prior to our appointment but that was the only hiccup. When the interview actually took place, the interviewer was professional, engaging, and well prepared. She knew the company and the position, she didn't ask the typical pointless interview questions, and she was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. For a first round interview especially, it was a very positive experience.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had to use a creative solution to satisfy a customer service need.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Kroger in May 2012
Interview
It was a three interview process with behavior based questions. The first interview was with a human resources representative. There was also a technical timed section in the first interview that dealt primarily with Microsoft Outlook and Excel speed and accuracy. One needs to pass both of these in order to advance. The second interview was with the Human Resources Manager. It also had behavior based questions that typically began with, "Tell me about a time when...." After that there is a panel interview. My included the two vice presidents and the controller that the position supported. (The division president did not attend).
