Recruiter was very clear with what the interview process would include. kicked off with phone screen and then a number of various different interviews with hiring manager and skip levels.

Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Klaviyo (Boston, MA) in Jan 2022
Interview
email confirmation, initial interview with lead followed with 3 interviews with boss and product manager(s). 3 rounds of interviews in one day each 30m 1) first interview, 30m the person had 20 questions and they were all canned "tell me about at time that you did..." I responded in short answers which seemed to frustrate them, but heck - you either get quality or quantity - can't do both 2) next person interview - a bit better, but huh? a video background masking their work from home environment. stay classy. 3) last interview - again with product lead, better I really liked this one. too bad she's new. barely 6 months on the job. maybe that says something with management getting high turn over? idk. overall, 3 days of diligently studying their business model, business mantra, business acumen, plenty of rehearsal - I had a very hard time understanding what they wanted in the role, I doubt they even know.

Question 1
For a senior role they sure asked a lot of entry level position questions - do yourself a favor and just skip interviewing with them.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Klaviyo
Interview
4 rounds so far - deep dive on product design and behavioral. The interview is focused heavily on how you understand product management and how you design products. Prepare on product design and product sense type of questions.

Interview
Really quick process; I was contacted within a week of submitting my application and had a round scheduled with Brian, a talent recruiter at Klaviyo, almost immediately. I felt Brian was a world-class recruiter as he was very informed about the position, about the company, about PM's role in the organization and he set really clear expectations about the next steps. I actually noted that Glassdoor interview reviews stated that PM interviews could take weeks and had quite negative feedback, and he was able to speak to that and affirm to me that they'd made changes and the process was much quicker and clearer now. I didn't end up getting the job after round 2 (which I enjoyed! I spoke with a product lead / hiring manager, and although I do wish this interview had been a little sooner after round 1 it still wasn't an unreasonable gap between rounds), but Klaviyo was really quick to let me know that I was not moving forward. Brian provided additional feedback upon request. Figured I should leave a review here since I had a really positive experience, but they hired a candidate into the role before I got to the written assessment stage, so I can't speak to the full flow.

Question 1
Talk about the process/a time when you took something from idea to concept to validation to execution. Talk about how I work with Engineering. Talk about a problem/challenge I faced and how I resolved it. Pretty standard stuff!
