I was reached out by a hiring personnel via Stackoverflow. I spoke to him, ended with him following up and then disappeared. After weeks of silence I reached out, he said and I quote "dropped the ball" on it. I found it unprofessional and vague. So that was about it.
Months later, this time I applied online, soon was reached out by the same person. Step one is a screening test. I turned in my submission, reached out again to verify if he ever got them and if they had a feedback. I am still waiting to hear back. I have formally pulled out my application.
After 2 times in a row, I believe it is safe to say that Klaviyo's recruitment has some serious flaws that needs amended before they can begin to attract top talents.
Hi Klaviyo, If your plan changes in the middle of a recruitment, try to be courteous to the people who found your product interesting and applied to those position, spent time working on the take home assignment.
Appears to me, that the hiring committee changes their mind in the middle of a recruitment or something else. Be courteous, you're sure to lose applicant traction if these practices do not change.
Till then, I would recommend staying away from company.
