Overall I had a mostly positive interview experience with a few hiccups that Klarna could improve. The timed abstract logic test that they make interviewees complete feels both exclusionary and somewhat discriminatory. The value of employees should be in the diverse ways they think, reason, and find solutions, so this part of the interview process was a turn-off. After I passed the logic test I had 1 round of interviews with HR and 2 rounds with senior members of the team I was interviewing to be on. Both members of the team that I got to know were really lovely, down-to-earth, and intelligent. HR never confirmed if my salary expectations were within their budget range for the role. HR was communicative until I received the rejection, then they ghosted when I asked for feedback.
