The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Klarna (New York, NY) in Sep 2020
Interview
The process started with a recruiter call and logic test (supervised). I took the practice test beforehand and found the test to be straightforward and simplistic - though I question its efficacy in identifying talent. I must have done well, because I made it to the next round of 4 interviews with the team. The process concluded with an offer, but the team issued an offer that was far below expectations & competing offers, and Klarna claimed they did not have room to negotiate.
Warning to those interviewing - clarify comp expectations upfront, because Klarna will not negotiate. It’s a shame, because I really liked the team and the product has merit - if they had coke up (even a little bit) in a show of good faith, I would have accepted.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Know the retail & ecommerce industry inside and out.
Onduidelijk proces, langzame opvolging, gesprek weinig inhoudelijk was voornamelijk informatie versturen. Interviewer maakte geen professionele indruk, geen interview op star methodiek of andere structuur. Dit maakt een gesprek vaag en tijdverspilling.
Multiple steps in the process, including a logical thinking test. The recruiter informed me upfront very well about every step, what to expect, how long will the interview take and who will be interviewing. Overall a good experience.

There was also a case study done during one of the interviews. I was told that beforehand and the material was only shared in the call as previously informed.
So many interviews - it gets annoying eventually
