The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kiva (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
Very chaotic, disorganized, controversial, false expectation setting interview process (few rounds). Potentially, with conflict of interest, the person(s) in your future subordination interviews you. This can be useful, if well managed by hiring manager and HR team, however i had a different feeling. Anyway, maybe even better that didn’t work out, lots of things in the process make you think twice.
First off, I would like to apologize for your candidate experience and let you know that we strive to do our best to ensure we would not set any false expectations. Thank you for your feedback and we will do our best to resolve issues like this in the future. Best regards!
Interview process included three interviews with HR, manager and team and a project. Was pretty quick and project was directly related to position responsibilities. Total process took about three weeks.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Went through experience. Gave situational questions around handling issues.
Awful. One of the panelists stared at his phone the entire time. He would fire questions off at me while not even looking up. I'm not sure he ever saw my face once.
The recruiting contact kept "losing emails" and forgetting to follow up, including "forgetting" to inform me that I didn't get the job.
Very negative impression of how this org is run on the inside. I felt completely disrespected and they got a whole lot of ideas out of me for free in the interview process.
