I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Kintone
Interview
Full process (as I was described) - Application form with a couple of short essays, Phone Interview, Video Interview, Written Test (not sure what this was for), Interview with head quarter in Japan. I only made it to the video interview.
HR interview, and then take-home coding test. The coding test was simple and took about 1.5 hours, but is graded by an automated system (!!). I was told via email that I failed the coding test and received no further feedback. The company then ghosted me. No explanation of what I did wrong, just wasted about 2 hours of my time with this company.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Kintone (Kuala Lumpur) in Feb 2022
Interview
There were three rounds of interviews, the first round was with the HR and the hiring manager whereby they did an introduction on their company background, then they asked basic questions about the candidate. The interview all seemed very positive for me until the next day when the recruiter notified me that they are not interested in proceeding with me as they were looking for candidates with coding skills. (After a good period of time, I found out that they hired someone with project management skills/certification instead) Kinda annoyed that my time was wasted on this as the job requirements never stated programming as a requirement but as a "nice to have"
