Gespräch mit HR und Tech Lead war sehr angenehm. Bei Fragen durfte man ausreden und Rückfragen waren jederzeit erwünscht. Insgesamt eine sehr angenehme Erfahrung. Auch nach Absage wurde die Möglichkeit geboten noch einmal zu sprechen damit genauer erklärt werden konnte warum es nicht geklappt hat, was mir im weiteren Bewerbungsverlauf sehr geholten hat. I had a first interview scheduled with the CTO and a VP of Eng. I did the preparation as recommended, by reading most of the blog posts and watching the videos there as well, which definitely help you to prepare for it. On the interview itself, unfortunately only the CTO joined, and he was late for it. He was also notably tired - this can be understandable, but he was often yawning when I was speaking, which felt very bad. I also couldn't feel he had prepared for it as much as he says he usually does. The interview itself was fine, he started asking questions, and then we chatted a little, but we didn't really click - I can probably also say this from the CTO side. Because of this, I imagined I was getting rejected when he didn't ask me the final questions about salary, notice period, etc., (he says on a video he only asks them when he feels like the candidate is promising) But even then it took 2 weeks for me to receive the rejection email - which was sent on a Sunday.
