The procedure itself was fine but the last step was a complete nightmare. After being offered the role, meeting the team in-office, and having asked a simple question about potential salary offer increase the company went silent. After weeks of being stonewalled I simply was told the offer had been rescinded because of a company re-org. Even though I tried to contact the hiring manager a number of times (someone whom I'd met and spoken to a half-dozen times during the process both online and in-person) I heard nothing. Very disappointing after such a process, meeting the whole team, and being introduced as a new member of the team.
