I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Just Eat Takeaway.com in Jun 2024
Interview
I had the same experience as the person from another review about the UI Designer position. I spoke with an internal recruiter - she was late to the interview, uninterested in what I had to say, distracted and dismissive. I felt extremely uncomfortable and as if she was under the influence. When I asked questions about how many days in the office is this role, she gave me three different answers.
She said I'd get feedback by Monday, but didn't. I had to follow up a couple of times. I ended up rejecting further interviews because of her attitude and because of their lack of flexibility when it comes to going to the office - they force people to go to the office 2-days a week.
Another reason why I rejected the interviews, was that one of the stages was a design TASK - spec work, working for free.
I wish the interview process and the meaning of 'hybrid' was clearly stated in the job description. I wouldn't have applied at all if I knew.

Interview
I submitted my application on the company's website and subsequently had an initial video conversation with the recruiter. It was just a typical screening call, and it didn't feel very welcoming.

I applied online. I interviewed at Just Eat Takeaway.com (London, England) in Jun 2024
Interview
The HR woman who conducted my screening interview was 8 minutes late. She started the interview with a displeased expression and was checking her Slack messages. She didn't look at the camera even once, asked questions in a robotic manner, and didn't pay attention to my answers. I didn't feel comfortable during the interview, and I don't want to work for a company that shows so little respect for candidates. This woman represented the company at this point, and to be honest, she did a disservice to Just Eat. If I had to define the company based on this experience, I would say they are rude, disrespectful, and arrogant.
