I recently went through an interview process for a tech position, and it was a really positive experience overall. It started with an initial round where I spoke with a recruiter and a tech manager. They were both really friendly and helped me feel comfortable right from the start.
After that, I had a pair programming session and a competency round together. The pair programming session was quite enjoyable - I got to collaborate with one of the interviewers to solve some coding problems, and it felt more like a teamwork exercise than a test. The interviewer was supportive and provided helpful guidance along the way.
In the competency round, we talked about my past experiences, technical skills, and problem-solving approach. It was a good opportunity for me to showcase my abilities and discuss how I could contribute to the team.
