Overly laborious tech test (same test given to all engineers, from grads to tech managers and beyond) took 5 valuable hours to complete, Just Eat cancelled offered face-to-face interview ON THE DAY OF THE INTERVIEW as they offered the role to someone else, wasting my time spent on the tech test as well as the day of leave I booked to attend. This level of time-wasting is simply unacceptable, as a hiring manager myself I'd typically go ahead with any scheduled interview in this situation if only to avoid p*ssing someone off as much as I'm currently p*ssed off.
