      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Jumpfactor in Jul 2023

      Interview

I almost spent 0.5-2 hours for all the time they asked me for interviews. 1) Hiring agency Interview 2) Online Test 3) Interview with CEO 2) Presentation assignment for CEO 3) interview with CEO(which was rescheduled thrice and two times I waited for almost 2 hours) I gave them references too when they asked for it. It was a week after the last interview, so I asked them about the status and they told me that they are not moving forward with me. I almost had 6-7 steps that I took to get this rejection for one single post. I also found out that they had hired for this same post already 2-3 months back and she went through training period to get appointed for this post 1-2 week back, the same time I was being interviewed. (I might be overthinking)

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Jumpfactor (Chicago, IL) in Dec 2021

      Interview

Whew. I don't think I've ever left a review before, but this was a doozy. Was contacted by the recruiter. Did the personality tests, was told I did great. I was asked to interview the same day. I don't usually do this, but I didn't have anything to do, so I agreed. We got on a call later that night and I had a technical issue. When we got started, he was extremely, overly concerned with the amount of money my last position made. The company shut down last year and laid me, my sister, and everyone else off after MONTHS of crap and garbage, and I hate talking about it. I tried to steer the conversation away from that and onto things that mattered (my skillset, for example), but he just kept asking me about the revenue and clients. I had to try and find more and more positive things to say about a position that ruined my life. Hey, I don't know exactly how much we were making! Hey, I don't know how my boss got away with charging so much for the services. THE JOB SUCKED. It was horribly run. I almost gave him her number so he could talk about revenue and services with her instead. The company has been shut down, the site is down, it's all defunct. I had other experience on my resume we could have discussed, but he was OBSESSED with that one job and knowing how we made money. I have no idea what got into him. I stayed on because I thought, eh, the old site is down so maybe he's just trying to make sure it was an actual business? Or maybe he didn't believe I'd actually worked there? Why not move on to another position, then, or just tell me I didn't qualify because he was suspicious? In a typical situation, I wouldn't have dealt with it at all and would've just closed out the meeting and moved on. It was the most confusing and awkward interview I've ever been through. I don't think he asked me anything that had to do with the actual job.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How much revenue did your previous position generate a year? How much were the monthly services? Wow, that much? What did they include? Was it a family business (after finding my sister's name associated with the company after a Google Search)? So these services you offered were monthly packages? ETC

Our team focuses heavily on hiring for a very strong culture fit and part of this is understanding your past experience, progress or lack thereof so we can make a fair assessment. We will often focus on areas which the hiring manager feels are most relevant and sometimes it is skill related and other times its very behavioral or personality related. We are sorry you didn't have a positive experience. Best of luck inf your career!

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Jumpfactor in Apr 2021

      Interview

Had an interview with the recruiter that was very surface level. She sent me a couple evaluations to do within 24h and send back. I did them and she never got back to me. After a week, I messaged her on LinkedIn and she said they moved on with other candidates. After making me do the evaluations on my own time, the least she should have done was email me right away that I wasn't a candidate anymore. Very inconsiderate.
