Judco outsources its hiring to 3rd party recruiters. The recruiter reached out to me about this position and I interviewed with the engineering manager over the phone. Afterward, I had an on-site interview in Harbor City and met with the President and the Engineering Team. Overall, the interview process was good, but the good things stop here.
The way the company handled the actual hiring was abysmal. It was advertised to me as a full-time position, but after the in-person interview, they switched it up to a 3 month contract-to-hire position. They were unwilling to provide any sort of offer letter to me because they "didn't want to waste time" according to my recruiter.
I declined the offer because it wasn't worth the risk and pay to leave a permanent position for a short contract position, especially during the pandemic.
