      Frontend Developer Interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JobLeads in Apr 2025

      Interview

I applied for the position via their website, and the communication throughout the process was very fast. From application to offer, it took just 3 weeks, which included 3 interview stages: 1) screening with HR, 2) technical interview, and 3) trial day. The technical interview included live coding, but it was relatively simple. The task involved working with Nuxt3, and the goal was to show how I work, communicate, and write code in a real-world setting. The team lead during the interview was very open and supportive, which helped create a relaxed atmosphere. The third stage was a trial day, where I spent a whole day working as if I were already part of the team. I had 3 calls: one with the team lead, where they outlined tasks for the day, a general standup with the team to meet everyone and see how they communicate, and the final presentation, where I showed what I had worked on and answered questions from the team. One downside is that if you have a main job, you need to take a day off to attend the trial day. While this can be inconvenient for candidates, it’s actually a great way to get a real sense of how the team works together and see the day-to-day operations of the company. It’s much less stressful than traditional interviews. Overall, I was very impressed with the interview process. At every stage, I felt supported by the recruiter, and I really appreciated the speed of communication. The feedback after each interview was also received promptly. I’m grateful for the transparent and smooth process. Highly recommend!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

During the technical interview, I was given a Nuxt3 to-do list template with five tasks. The tasks included: 1) Requesting a list of tasks from the server. 2) Displaying the tasks on the page. 3) Implementing filters by date and status. 4) Allowing tasks to be marked as completed or undone. The goal was to focus on the clean implementation of the logic using Nuxt3, without worrying too much about the "look" of the interface. The challenge was to demonstrate how I handle state management, API requests, and component structure in a real-world scenario.
