Jigsaw XYZ interview questions

I have applied in March 2021. A couple of days after my application their HR got back to ask with a request for a first interview. The interview with the HR lasted for about 20 minutes. During the interview their HR representative explained what they do at Jigsaw and then I was asked question about the content of my CV that I assume they had already read. It was a bit dull an uninspiring. The following day I received an email informing me know that I was not successful. The impression I had is that their HR picks people based on some obscure personal liking rather than good fit for the company or the job, as I was more than qualified for this role.

Applied online and no follow up even after 2-3 weeks. I contacted via LinkedIn requesting for an update about next steps however, the first thing this recruiter responds is with ‘what salary you after’. No further response since then.
