Interview
First, applicants submit their materials and fill out a form with some basic questions. Applications are screened by a third party, who does a phone screening. Qualified applicants are passed on the the hiring manager, who schedules an interview with candidates after reviewing notes from the phone screening.

Did I have experience with the various databases they used? Salesforce, Raiser's Edge/Blackbaud.
It was a few rounds of interviews with different people. They did look at my resume and they did check out my information given. They asked questions of what I have done.

Interview
I was volunteering for the company.
I submitted my resume once a new position opened.
Quickly I was invited for an interview.
The interview was with an HR representative and the director of the refugee resettlement program.
There was a friendly atmosphere. They asked many questions but in a nice way. Asked to give examples and wanted to make sure that I know what it means to work in that position.
