Straight forward interview. More conversational than technical. However, they gave a whole speech about how they’re trying to bring young people into the office to prepare the “next generation” and then turned around and essentially told me I was too young and they don’t want to waste time and money on me if they can’t guarantee that I’d stay with a company a long time. Upper management was very outdated in their way of thinking. Those who are running the offices day to day were much clearer about what they wanted and expected. The whole interview left a very sour taste in my mouth and they never reached out again. I didn’t follow up because after that, I didn’t care to work for them.
