I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Janus Health
Interview
HR, Manager, 2 peer interviews, Manager, offer. Scenario driven to ensure both compatibility with the team but also to ensure revenue cycle knowledge. Strong focus on independence but also collaboration.
I found the interviewers to be highly unprofessional. The people I interviewed with presented themselves as highly arrogant and offered some rather off-putting comments. I received an offer and withdrew my candidacy. Not a fan of arrogance.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Janus Health in Jan 2023
Interview
I applied online via LinkedIn and they reached out to schedule a phone screening. The phone screening was just going over my experiences. Next, they scheduled an interview with the Data Science manager. This went over my experiences as well and also had some case study questions. After that, they said the next steps would be to complete a take-home project and then have a meeting with the DS team to review/for me to walk them through my results. The project was relatively straightforward and I worked on it for ~8 hours (the description was fairly open-ended so I could have spent much more time on it if I had the time) After I sent the project back to them, I did not hear anything for about a week. I eventually got a response from the recruiter saying they were putting hiring for that role on hold. I did not have any communication/feedback from any of the data science team members. I emailed the original recruiter periodically so I could minimally get any feedback on my project and eventually received some fairly vague feedback about 2 months later, essentially saying that I did not have enough experience for the role.
Thank you so much for the feedback. I am so sorry this process took as long as it did - we are working to optimize our talent acquisition process and this experience isn’t representative of our candidate philosophy.
I am interested in learning more about the timeline and other thoughts you may have to help make improvements. If you are willing, please reach out to me at people@janus-ai.com and we can set up time to chat.
All the best,
Meghan
